Telemedicine FAQ’s

How are the test performed?
The exams are performed utilizing a HIPPA complaint telemedicine portal powered by LetsTalk Interactive which allows real time medical visits.

How does it work?
After an appointment request is processed the patient will receive an email invitation with the date and time for the visit. The patient simply follows the instructions on the screen and joins the visit through the portal.

Is special equipment necessary?
NO. Patients utilize any kind of mobile device or home based computer such as an iphone, android phone, ipad, PC Notebook, PC desktop or MAC.

Can patients have their visits in my office?
YES. If your practice chooses to have onsite TeleMedicine visits, our organization will provide your practice with a mobile device and mounting device with preinstalled software. The device will be installed at a location of your preference where your patients will be able to easily access the portal and complete the visit.

How do I schedule a Telemedicine visit?
Simply fill out the Telemedicine request Form (Link to form on Telemedicine page). Your patient will be contacted and scheduled for the Telemedicine Initial Medical Evaluation for EMC.
If your practice chooses to take advantage of onsite Telemedicine visits, your staff will be given access to the provider schedule or easy scheduling.

Are same day appointments available?
YES. We have providers on staff Monday thru Friday from 8am to 6pm.

Is there a charge the my practice for Telemedicine EMC visits?
NO. ClearCare LLC will work with the patients attorney through LOP or bill insurance providers directly for services provided.

How long does the exam take?
The average telemedicine Initial Medical evaluation for EMC’s generally take 20-30 minutes.

Is Telemedicine available in other languages?
YES. Currently we have English, Spanish and Creole Speaking providers. Through the use of a language line, we can provide services in almost any language from any country with 24 hour request.

Can Medications be prescribed with Telemedicine Visits?
YES. We can prescribe any non-narcotic medications during initial medical telemedicine EMC visits when deemed necessary.

On January 6, 2006 the Florida Adminsitrative Code & Florida administrative register established Rule: 64B8-9.0141 of the Florida Department of Health that allowed for medical visits to occur via TeleMediccine.
